Class Refund Policy

The Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Council accepts payments for classes and events.  Due to the costs incurred in planning for art classes and events, the following refund policies will apply to all classes.

CLASSES:
• Full refunds of payments made will be issued when the Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Council cancels a single-session class or more than one session of a multiple-session class.  A pro-rated refund of payments made will be issued when a single session of a multiple-session class is cancelled and not rescheduled.

  • Class cancellations for single-session classes made and received by the Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Council at least 10 business days (Monday thru Friday) prior to the date of the class are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per participant.  No refund will be given for class cancellations made or received fewer than 10 business days prior to the class.
  • Class cancellations for multiple-session classes made and received by the Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Council at least 10 business days (Monday thru Friday) prior to the date of the first class session are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per session.  No refund will be given for class cancellations made or received fewer than 10 business days prior to the first class session, and no pro-rata or other refund will be given for individual sessions which are missed or cancelled by the participant.

• A participant who cannot attend a single-session class may allow someone else to attend in his/her absence, provided notification of such substitution is provided to the Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Counsel at least 24 hours in advance of the class date. 

• A participant who cannot attend all of the sessions of a multiple-session class may allow someone else to attend the entire multiple-session class in his/her absence, provided notification of such transfer is provided to the Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Counsel at least 24 hours in advance of the date of the first class session.  Multiple individuals may not be substituted for a single participant in multiple-session classes.

• Due to the processes required in creating a refund, notification of a class cancellation must be made in writing and sent via regular mail or hand-delivery to the Class/Event Coordinator, Springfield Township Arts & Enrichment Council, 9150 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 or via e-mail to artsinfo@springfieldtwp.org.  

• Refunds will be made by check and will be mailed to the participant at the address provided during registration for the class.
