Drawing Fundamentals (Session 5: Thursdays, September 14 - October 19, 2017)

Thursday, September 14, 2017

Learning how to draw just became easier with step-by-step instruction from our talented drawing instructor! Classes will focus on building basic drawing techniques using proportions and contours of observed objects. The curriculum will build on itself so that participants who choose to take all 6 sessions will learn progressively. Critiques develop students’ abilities to think critically about their own work and to support other people in their own journey.

Session & Class Structure: Classes will be held once a week, for six week sessions. This will allow basic skills to build over time. This program is ideal for beginners, as well as more advanced students. Students are asked to bring their own supplies.

Required Class Supplies: A Sketch Pad (Size 9x12 or 11x14), four drawing pencils (2B, 6B, HB, 2H) and a blue kneaded eraser, vinyl (white) eraser, a roll of blue artist or painter's tape.

Minimum
: 6 students     Maximum: 15 students
