ALL SCHOOL KIDS THEATER: Lion King Kids

ArtsConnect is partnering with Performing Arts Inc to offer children’s theater experiences. Kids of all ages and levels are welcome. No one gets cut. There will be 8 weeks of rehearsals and then 2 community performances held at Finneytown High School theater. Theater classes help to build confidence, strengthen their voice, broaden their skills and talent, and connect with friends.

Rehearsals take place on Tuesdays, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Springfield Township Community Art Center, Building A, behind the fire station, at 9150 Winton Road.

Performances will be held at Finneytown High School Theater at 8916 Fountainbleau Ter, down the street from ArtsConnect. There will be two performances, Friday, April 21 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 22 from 2:00 -3:00 pm. Tickets for each show will be $10. Bring your whole family to support the amazing young actors!

Students will be asked to provide their own costumes.

Tina Bruno Lukondi, born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio is the owner and operator of Performing Arts, Inc. Prior to opening Performing Arts, Inc she owned her own dance studio for thirty-five years with an award winning competition team, where she also won many prestigious awards for choreography. She teaches dance classes as well as directs most of the theater programs. Miss Tina is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Early Learning and Child Development and Dance. Miss Tina has been teaching dance for forty-five years, and has been directing musicals for sixteen years. She is also an author and a mother of four boys. She takes great pride in her Performing Arts, Inc business and feels very lucky to share her love of dance and theater with her teachers and students

Class Cancellations & Weather Closings

A minimum of four students must be enrolled for the session prior to the stated deadline for the class to take place (maximum 12 students). The Springfield Township Senior and Community Arts Center follows Finneytown School District inclement weather closings. To verify closings, call 513-522-2108.

Due to costs incurred in planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the Arts Council cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student. Refunds will be made by check, not to a credit card.
