Join the fun of Line Dancing. You will learn easy line dances in this friendly, casual, and fun class. The instructor, Erica Robinson-Gripp, has been teaching line dancing for many years. Erica teaches step-by-step, with lots of repetition. The music is up to date and popular. Line dancing is fun for everyone, from teens to seniors, single folks to couples. You will burn calories while enjoying yourself!
Line Dancing will take place on Thursdays for 6-week sessions from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at ArtsConnect Springfield Township Arts Center, 9158 Winton Rd, Building A, behind the fire station. Register for a 6-week session for $50 or come when you can and pay $10 for the class that night. Erica offers free bonus dancing from 7 - 7:30 pm so come early!
ArtsConnect offers an online option for those not ready to do in-person classes yet. We will have a camera set up during class so students can join the class from their home. Participants will need to download the free program- Zoom prior to the beginning of the session. Participants will receive an email an invitation and a link to join the class.
When registering for the class you will need to select which method of participation you want: in-person or online.
No class on November 23 due to Thanksgiving break.
Instructor: Erica Robinson-Gripp
Erica Robinson-Gripp has a passion for line dancing and her contagious enthusiasm fills her classes. She has been 100% all-in since first being introduced to the fun of Line Dancing in 1991-1992. She never stops embracing the fun of learning and teaching line dances to all genres of music. Erica has been teaching consistently, several classes a week in the tri-state area, since November 2011. She was recently invited to teach at Jesus camp in Nantucket. Her favorite reminder is. "There are no mistakes in line dancing, only options!"
