Instructor - Stephan Carpenter

Stephan grew up playing video games and reading magazines that explained coding in detail. He learned at an early age the connection between programming and video games.  The first video games he played were Atari 400 and 286 and soon after began making his own video games. His love of creating video games evolved into Stephan's degree at UC. He received his BS in Information Technology at UC, as well as graduate coursework in Computer Science. Stephan was a Computer Science teaching assistant at UC and Summer Program Lecturer of AI for the Connect 4 program. He was an Instructional Technology Facilitator at East End Community Heritage School where he ran a computer lab and assisted with math coursework. Stephan is proficient in programming, video game design & development, and artificial intelligence, especially for games.
