Adult Cooking and Mixology
Ages 21 & over
Learn to prepare and cook specific types of foods and drinks in a demonstration or hands-on class or workshop. In the demonstration workshops, students will watch the instructor prepare a meal. Students can take notes, ask questions and sample the meal. Each student will receive copies of the recipes. In the hands-on class or workshop, students will participate by cooking along with the instructor then share the meal when finished.

$170 for non-members per 6-week session
$153 for members per 6-week session
Participants will embark on a culinary journey of authentic Italian food and culture. Class will be hands-on, and students will follow along with instructor, Daniele Cangemi as he teaches authentic Italian cooking. Each class of the session will feature a main course, side or dessert paired with a wine! Once prepared, enjoy the dish and wine while listening to Daniele’s experiences of life and culture in Italy.
Adult Cooking and Mixology Workshops
Ages 21 & up
Try one of our one-day Cooking and Mixology Workshop to learn how to make a certain food or mix that perfect drink! Workshops are either hands-on or demonstration. The hands-on workshop students will follow along with the chef or bartender making their own small portion. In the demonstration workshops, students will watch the chef or bartender taking notes and asking questions along the way. In both types of workshops participants will taste the items and then go away the recipe.
Pasta 101 workshop is taught by Hannah Luken Bender, owner of Artichoke Curated Cookware Collection in OTR by Finley Market.
Bar Knowledge workshops are taught by Michael Carhartt, bartender at Tela Bar and Kitchen in Wyoming.
Aperitivo Workshop taught by Daniele Cangemi, native of Bologna Italy.

Cooking and Mixology Instructors
Italian Hands-on Cooking Instructor:
Daniele was born in Bologna, Italy and shares his life experiences of authentic homestyle Italian Cooking. He has a BS in Political Science and MA in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies. Daniele has worked internationally in humanitarian careers, emergency interventions, and primary health care. He has worked in Italy, Cameroon, Columbia, Somalia, Kenya, Guinea, Nigeria, and the United States. Daniele is passionate about culture, especially his homeland of Italy. He will take his students on a culinary tour of Italian cuisine and culture.
Michael is a bartender at Tela's Bar and Kitchen in Wyoming. He loves to entertain and surprise his customers by flipping bottles as he pours liquor in glasses. He balances glasses on his forearm as he pours then serves the drinks by carrying them on the top of his hand. Micahel has a passion for creating new and unique cocktails. Students will learn how to make simple cocktails while enjoying the show.
