Aerial Arts are a fun way to exercise and stretch! Aerial Yoga and Fitness use silk hammocks for students to swing and stretch into postures that might not be possible on a mat. The hammock is a prop like a strap or block, intended to assist with alignment, posture and balance. Aerial Arts provide benefits of spinal decompression and help to improve core strength and flexibility. Classes are taught by certified instructors and are appropriate for beginners to intermediate.
Yoga classes are held in our newly renovated yoga studio at Springfield Township ArtsConnect. You will be using top-of-the-line hammocks and equipment. Please bring a yoga mat. No sleeveless tops or jewelry.

With the weight of the body partially or fully supported along with the help of gravity and the fabric, you can explore and possibly create space in your body as intended in traditional yoga practice. Classes are taught by certified instructors and appropriate for beginners to intermediate. Bring a yoga mat. No sleeveless tops or jewelry
