The property now known as the Springfield Township Community Arts Center was originally built in 1957 by the Kolping Society. The property was later purchased by Springfield Township in 1994 and renovated with Block Grant funds in 1995 to be used as a Community Senior Center. In 2020, the facility underwent extensive renovations to become an fully operational community arts center, while also keeping the existing senior programming. ArtsConnect is the non-profit partner programming the with a variety of classes, workshops and summer camps. 

The Arts Center holds classroom spaces, a pottery studio and woodshop. The Center is staffed with a combination of township employees who operate the front desk and ArtsConnect staff to oversee programming and contracted instructors. The rooms of the Center are not available for rent.

ArtsConnect also programs the Annex at the Grove. 


Directions: For GPS purposes, use the address 9150 Winton Road. This will guide you to the Springfield Township Administration Campus. Turn into the drive for the Civic Center, located at the south end of the complex, and follow it behind the building, and past the soccer field. The Senior & Community Arts Center is located on the east side of the soccer field.
