WOODSHOP OPEN STUDIO RULES AND TERMS
WOODSHOP OPEN STUDIO WAIVER
The ArtsConnect woodshop is available for unsupervised open studio use to individuals 18 years and older who have:
Successfully completed the Intro to Woodshop course (or Advanced Woodshop).
Received instructor approval.
Have a signed waiver on file.
Open studio may be used anytime a class is not in session. Current open studio hours are posted on the calendar above or can be confirmed by calling 513-522-2108.
Safety Requirements
The Intro and Advanced Woodshop sessions include comprehensive instruction on:
All safety rules and emergency procedures.
Proper operation of each tool and machine.
Safe work habits to prevent injury.
Only participants who have completed one of these courses may use the woodshop.
Equipment Available
The woodshop is equipped with:
Band saw
Radial arm saw
Jointer
Planer
SawStop table saw
Drill press
Sanders
Scroll saw
A variety of hand tools
Mortiser *Not permitted for open studio use unless Advance class is completed
Routing table *Not permitted for open studio use unless Advance class is completed
Lathes are never permitted for unsupervised use.
For everyone’s safety, all open studio users are expected to follow posted Woodshop Open Studio Rules and Terms at all times.
Open Studio Fees
Woodshop Open Studio Passes (18 and Over)
$5 Day / $25 Month / $150 Year
*Intro class must be completed in advance.
Pottery + Woodshop Studio
$250 Year
*Intro classes must be completed for both studios.
