ABOUT ARTSCONNECT 

ArtsConnect generates exciting community events and unique art experiences through classroom instruction, camps, hands-on workshops and public art installations. In partnership with Springfield Township, ArtsConnect operates the township's community arts center, where programs in pottery, drawing, painting, woodworking, ceramics, blacksmithing, music instruction and so much more.  ArtsConnect signature community events include outdoor concerts, puppet shows, art shows, dances, theater productions and an Artisan Fair.

We offer a 8-week, full-day summer art camp program for kids that is accredited by the American Camp Association. We are now accepting applications and will be hiring three camp counselors. The Camp Director will oversee the overall operations of the camp, set the theme and lead discussions.

TRAINING (paid)

3 days of mandatory training May 27, 28, 29 ( 9:00 am - 4 pm)

COUNSELOR HOURS

FULL-TIME:  June 1 - July 31, 2026, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m,
PART-TIME: June 1 - July 31, 2026, 8:30 am -1:00 pm  OR  June 1 - July 31, 2026, 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm

PAY

$16 per hour. Up to 40 hours per week. Seasonal Employment. 
No camp the week of June 29-July 4

Applicants must be over the age of 18 with a high school diploma. Applicants with or pursuing a degree in education or art is preferred.

LOCATION

The camp takes place at ArtsConnect Annex at the Grove. ArtsConnect is located behind The Springfield Township Admin Building and Fire Station @ 9158 Winton Road, Buildings A and B, Cincinnati, OH 45231.

Type of Employment: Camp counselors are full and part-time hourly positions that are not exempt from the overtime requirements of the FLSA. These positions are seasonal and do not entitle counselors to unemployment compensation or benefits upon completion of each camp season.
