Camp Cancellation and Transfer Policy

The ArtsConnect Full-Day summer art camp program is an exceptional program, accredited by the American Camp Association. The program fills quick as there is a maximum of 30 campers each week. While cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, we have a firm cancellation policy.

Great care has been made to comply with staffing standards, camper to counselor ratios, and art supply needs. The following policy applies to the ArtsConnect Kids Camp program. 

Cancellations:  $50 of EACH camp week fee is non-refundable. Cancellations made within 10 days qualify for a refund, minus the non-refundable $50. Cancellations made with less than a 10 business days  do not qualify for refund unless there is a valid, verified medical reason.    

Medical Refunds: Refunds with less than a 10 day notification will only be given for valid medical reasons and a doctor’s note will be required for a refund.  A $50.00 fee will be retained per session.

Transfer Requests: A switch from one registered camp session to another camp session  within the grace period of 10 days can be made without penalty if space allows in another camp session.  There are no additional fees for a transfer. If no other camp sessions are available to transfer to, then a cancellation or a user credit can be issued, minus $50. 

Payment Plan: Payment plan deposits ($50 per session) are non-refundable

COVID: According to the CDC guidelines, campers do not need to quarantine if a person in their household has COVID, only if they have COVID. It is recommended that a camper wear a mask for 7 days after symptoms subside. In cases where a camper must quarantine for 5 consecutive days, we can offer a pro-rated refund minus $50.00 as a user credit. (For a member, the daily rate is $42, for a non-member, the daily rate is $44.) A doctor's note is required.
