Specialty Summer Camps
Registration Begins Monday, February 9, 2026.
Looking for something fun and special for your kids to do this summer? Try one of our Specialty Camps. Camps are one week long and vary from half-day to full-day. Camp themes specialize in Visual Arts, Digital and Audio, Musical, and Performing Arts.
Each full-day camp week has a different theme. Select the camp week that coincides with your specialty camp.
Interested in a Specialty Camp but need an all-day program? Add a half day of Summer Art Camp to complete your child’s schedule. Children will walk over to The Grove and join our full-day art camp program before or after their Specialty Camp.

POTTERY CAMP, Ages 10 - 14
June 22 - 26, 2026
Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
$200 Non-member Fee

Teens will participate in a variety of Pottery techniques during this weeklong half-day camp. Students will learn to use the pottery wheel and do hand-building. They will alternate between these techniques each day. They will glaze all clay pieces and pick up their finished work once the pottery has been fired. No experience is needed.
All supplies included. Please bring a snack and a water bottle.

THEATER CAMP, Ages 7 - 13
Lion King Kids

Kids will work all week towards a final performance they will give to family and friends.
Final Performance: Friday 6:00-7:00 p.m. at ArtsConnect Annex

JUNIOR BAND CAMP, Ages 8 -14
July 20 - 24, 2026
Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
$180 Non-member Fee /$170 Member Fee
Band students will practice their instruments, learn fun band music, and improve their technique. Gain new friends while playing enrichment games and musical activities. Activities include rehearsals, mini-lessons, enrichment games, and musical activities.
This camp is designed for students in grades 3 through 8. Consideration for slightly younger or older students is made on an individual basis.
Bring your instrument, a snack, and a water bottle.

DISCOVER MAGIC CAMP, Ages 7 - 13
July 27 - 31, 2026 & August 3 - 7, 2026
Monday - Friday

Discover Magic classes educate young minds using original content to teach important life skills. Campers will receive different magic props each day that they will get to keep. Learn through hands-on activities, peer-to-peer interaction, video instruction, and online at-home access to unlock many different tricks. Campers will perform for family and friends on the last day.
Fee includes $140 of magic props, tricks, and access to an online video vault that you can access at home.
Bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.

Classes take place at the ArtsConnect Springfield Township Community Arts Center, 9158 Winton Rd, Building A, behind the fire station.
At ArtsConnect, we encourage children to explore their creativity independently to foster confidence and original thinking. While we ask that you sign your child in to class, to help your child gain the most from their class experience we kindly request that parents refrain from staying in the classroom.
During class, we invite you to enjoy our free Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating areas indoors and outdoors. If there are special circumstances that require your presence, please reach out to our Education Director beforehand.
Class cancellations due to weather will be made one hour prior to class start times and will be listed on the homepage of the ArtsConnect website at www.theartsconnect.us. To verify any weather closings, call 513-522-2108. In most instances, classes cancelled by weather will be made up by adding an additional class to the end of the session.
Due to costs incurred planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the ArtsConnect cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student or transfer to a new session.
