Tween Drawing and Painting

Ages 10 - 14, Thursday, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

$80 for non-members per 6-week session
$72 for members per 6-week session

Learn to draw and paint right from the start! Students will be introduced to the basic process of making pictures that not only “look like what you see” but are fresh and expressive. Students will learn to work with light and shadow, color, and simple perspective.  Tweens will use traditional drawing and painting materials.

Tween Drawing and Painting is held at the Community Art Center in Springfield Township on Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

At ArtsConnect, we encourage children to explore their creativity independently to foster confidence and original thinking. While we ask that you sign your child in to class, to help your child gain the most from their class experience we kindly request that parents refrain from staying in the classroom.

During class, we invite you to enjoy our complimentary coffee and tea, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating areas indoors and outdoors. If there are special circumstances that require your presence, please reach out to our Education Director beforehand.
