Learn to use the amazing flexible material of Silver Metal Clay from Paula McDowell, co-founder of the Alliance for Metal Clay Arts Worldwide, Inc. Metal Clay is an amazing type metal in the form of moist clay flakes that when fired hardens into metal.  Paula's workshops will be using Silver metal clay. 

Select from several workshops that teach jewelry-making using silver metal clay. These workshops are progressive beginning with the Basics then learning more advanced techniques of Layering and making Rings. You'll want to register for them all! 

 Students will create from a variety of types of jewelry, pendants, earrings, rings, etc. Workshops are from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. Bring a snack or lunch if desired.

All-day seminars are held at ArtsConnect Springfield Community Arts Center, 9158 Winton Rd, Building A, behind the fire station.

  1. Class Cancellations & Weather Closings

    Don't wait to register! Classes may be cancelled to low registration or fill up before you have a chance to register. 

    Class cancellations due to weather will be made one hour prior to class start times and will be listed on the homepage of the ArtsConnect website at www.theartsconnect.us. To verify any weather closings, call 513-522-2108. In most instances, classes cancelled by weather will be made up by adding an additional class to the end of the session.

    Due to costs incurred planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the ArtsConnect cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student or transfer to a new session.  View the full class refund policy here.
