Double the Fun Parent & Child Workshops
Double the Fun workshops are a great way to spend time with your family. We offer multiple projects for a parent (grandparent or caregiver) to create together with a child. The registration fee includes 2 people, an adult and a child. Please register only the adult for the class. In most Double the Fun programs, an additional child can be added for a discounted fee.
Sewing - Double the Fun
Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
$50 non-member fee / $45 member fee
These are parent-and-child workshops where families work together to sew different items. They will learn the basics of sewing in this fun workshop. Some previous sewing machine experience is helpful. All supplies included.
Workshops include: Sew an Apron, Sew a Notepad & Pencil Pouch, Sew a Fish Beach Bag. Try one or all!

Visual Arts - Double the Fun

Alcohol Inks are colored dyes that are combined with rubbing alcohol. Families first paint their ceramic tiles with rubbing alcohol then with an eye dropper apply drops of colored dyes. It's so easy to make beautiful designs. All supplies included. Each parent/child group will make 6 coasters.

Class Cancellations & Weather Closings
A minimum of four students must be enrolled for the session prior to the stated deadline for the class to take place (maximum 12 students). The Springfield Township ArtsConnect will post our cancellations on the website and social media due to inclement weather closings. To verify closings, call 513-522-2108.
Due to costs incurred in planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the Arts Council cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student. Refunds will be made by check, not to a credit card. To notify us of a cancellation, please send an email to artsinfo@springfieldtwp.org.
