Double the Fun Parent & Child Workshops
Double the Fun Workshops are a great way to spend time with your family. We offer three types, Pottery, Sewing and Cooking. Registration Fee is for 2 people, an adult and a child. For an additional fee, you can add more children. Make some lasting family memories in one or all of our Double the Fun workshops.
Pay one fee for 2 people, a child and an adult. Additional children may be added for $10 each. Fees may vary based on the cost of materials.
DOUBLE THE FUN SEWING WORKSHOPS
Ages 7 to adult
Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
$45 non-member fee / $41.50 member fee
Double the Fun Valentine Sewing Workshop
This is a parent-and-child class where families work together to sew a Valentine-inspired project. They will learn the basics of sewing in this fun workshop. Some previous sewing machine experience is helpful. Additional child is $10. All supplies included.
Double the Fun Stuffed Bunny Sewing Workshop
This is a parent-and-child class where families work together to sew a stuffed bunny in celebration of Easter. They will learn the basics of sewing in this fun workshop. Some previous sewing machine experience is helpful. Additional child is $10. All supplies included.
Double the Fun Beach Tote Sewing Workshop
This is a parent-and-child class where families work together to sew a beach tote. They will learn the basics of sewing in this fun workshop. Some previous sewing machine experience is helpful. Additional child is $10. All supplies included.

Double-the-Fun Valentine's Day Clay Heart Bowl Workshop
Families will have a wonderful time making a special clay bowl to help celebrate Valentine's Day. They will then make a clay coil handbuilt heart bowl and paint it with glaze. You will pick it up at a later date once it's been fired. All supplies included. Additional child is $10.
Double-the-Fun Metals with Mom, Metal Clay Jewelry Workshop
Families will have a wonderful time using metal clay to make a piece of jewelry. The clay turns into metal once it is fired. You will pick it up at a later date once it's been fired. All supplies included. Additional child is $10.
Double-the-Fun Mother's Day Vase Pottery Painting Workshop
Families will have a wonderful time painting a pre-made ceramic vase to help celebrate Valentine's Day. They will paint it with colored glaze. You will pick it up at a later date once it's been fired. All supplies included. Additional child is $10.

Double-the-Fun Chinese New Year Dumpling Making Workshop
Families will have a wonderful time learning about the Chinese New Year and making dumplings. Dumplings are a major part of the Chinese New Year celebrations. All supplies included. Additional child is $10.

Class Cancellations & Weather Closings
A minimum of four students must be enrolled for the session prior to the stated deadline for the class to take place (maximum 12 students). The Springfield Township ArtsConnect will post our cancellations on the website and social media due to inclement weather closings. To verify closings, call 513-522-2108.
Due to costs incurred in planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the Arts Council cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student. Refunds will be made by check, not to a credit card. To notify us of a cancellation, please send an email to artsinfo@springfieldtwp.org.
