ArtsConnect Classes at HighGrain Brewery
Classes are located at HighGrain, Brentwood location - 9176 Winton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231
ArtsConnect partners with HighGrain Brewery on Tuesdays to offer a variety of ArtsConnect art workshops from some of their gifted instructors. The first Tuesday of the month is Pottery Projects and the third Tuesday of the month is Make It, Take It Projects. Enjoy a beer on tap or a glass of wine while creating art! Food and drinks are available for purchase but are not included in the workshop price.
Pottery Projects
1st Wednesday of the Month
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Pottery Projects vary from glazing a pre-made pottery piece or creating your own hand-built clay mug. In hand-building you will sculpt a clay mug. Select a glaze color and the instructor will glaze it once it has been fired.
After your piece is fired, you can pick it up at ArtsConnect. Fees vary based on projects.
Make It, Take It Projects
3rd Wednesday of the Month
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Make It, Take It Projects are workshops where participants make different art projects taught by various instructors. Some projects are seasonal and holiday-related, which makes them great as unique gifts. Projects are completed within the class time, so you will go away with your homemade creations!
The cost of materials is included in each workshop fee. Registration is held by ArtsConnect here on our website, theartsconnect.us or call to register 513-522-2108.
JANUARY 21 : Charcuterie Board Make a beautiful and delicious charcuterie board that is sure to impress.
FEBRUARY 4: Pottery Painting
FEBRUARY 18 : Mandala Designed Tealights Paint with Mandala dots to design on the outside of a ceramic tealight.
MARCH 4: Hand-build Clay Mug
MARCH 18 : Moss Art Wall Hanging Using a variety of moss, pressed ferns, and natural materials, create a stunning framed moss masterpiece.
APRIL 1: Pottery Painting
APRIL 22 : Derby Hat Bar Select from a wide variety of decorative items to make a designer brimmed hat fit for The Kentucky Derby.
MAY 6 : Hand-build Clay Mug
MAY 20 : Desert Garden Design a succulent desert landscape arranged in a terracotta clay bowl.
JUNE 3 : Pottery Painting
JUNE 16 : Alcohol Ink Coasters Decorate ceramic tiles using alcohol inks. Each person will make 4 coasters.

Class Cancellations & Weather Closings
Don't wait to register! Classes may be cancelled to low registration or fill up before you have a chance to register. Class cancellations due to weather will be made one hour prior to class start times and will be listed on the homepage of the ArtsConnect website at www.theartsconnect.us. To verify any weather closings, call 513-522-2108. In most instances, classes cancelled by weather will be made up by adding an additional class to the end of the session.
Due to costs incurred planning for art classes, full refunds will only be issued when the ArtsConnect cancels the class. Class cancellations made within 10 business days of the class start date are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per student or transfer to a new session.
