Class Refund Policy

ArtsConnect accepts payments for classes and events.  Due to the costs incurred in planning for art classes and events, the following refund policies will apply to all classes.

CLASSES:
•  Full refunds will be issued when ArtsConnect cancels a full class session or workshop.  There will not be an administrative fee. Refunds are offered as a transfer to a different class or as a user credit, which can be used for any ArtsConnect class, workshop or event. Refunds can also be made to the credit card used for the original purchase. A refund check will be mailed if the original payment was made in cash, check or if the credit card used for the original purchase is no longer active. 

  • Class cancellations  made and received by ArtsConnect at least 10 business days (Monday thru Friday) prior to the date of the class are eligible for a refund, minus a $5 administration fee per participant.   
  • No refund will be given for class cancellations made or received fewer than 10 business days prior to the class.

• A participant who cannot attend a single-session class (workshop) may allow someone else to attend in his/her absence, provided notification of such substitution is provided to the ArtsConnect at least 24 hours in advance of the class date. The email address is artsinfo@springfieldtwp.org

• A participant who cannot attend all of the sessions of a multiple-week class may allow someone else to attend the entire multiple-session class in his/her absence, provided notification of such transfer is provided to ArtsConnect at least 24 hours in advance of the date of the first class session.  Multiple individuals may not be substituted for a single participant in multiple-session classes.   • Prorated or partial refunds are not offered for missed classes.
